The SPORTECH story

In the year 1979 our egineers developed the worldwide first microrocessor controlled ski binding tester DIATRONIC. It was the milestone in the history of theSPORTECH GmbH Sport Technology, located in Munich, Germany. Electrinic control units, industrial control systems, computer and software for the third party, if was the main stream of our products. From the beginning we joined the standartization work in Germany (DIN), later the international standard comitee ISO. We actively contributed and participated on the creation of new standards, in cooperation with other countries (USA, Austria, Switzerland,...). We become a menber of the international ISO, american ASTM and swiss BfU. Other products on this field are SkiTAX (in Austria called CORRECT), a calculator of the individual setting number with built-in printer for ski tickets. Today we produce the 5-th generation of it. The legendary MOMENTRONIC- line of the best ski binding testers ever built, reach today the 8-th generation. The new are the stand-by power saving testers dedicated to the ski rental operatins. We were one of the first producers of the ski rental software worldwide. Our RenTAX dominates the market by its technological superiority (radio frequency RF-SkiTAG transponder). Patented self-clamping, wobble-free ski stands and hangers without moving parts, it was the breakthrough after the carver ski type entered the market. These mobile racks for ski, boards, boots and poles can be put on the rail, creating a movable ski depot. The omnipotent assebly/setup benches renTTable and gingTISCH is the complete rental operation unit 5-in-1 with only 0,5qm footprint. Since the year 2000 we distribute ski and snowboards from the Czech ski factory SPORTEN. We also offer a production of custom made ski with private design. As a worldwide first company, SPORTECH offers a 3-year warranty Bring-in-warranty und Wait-for-repair-service. We trade also with used ski service machines any kind. |

We participate at all bigger trade fairs all over the world: SIA (USA), ISPO (Germany), ÖSFA (Austria), SportPrague (Czech Republic), ProWinter (Italy), Tergy Outdorovy (Poland). Our own seminars take part regularly in October each year. The themes are "Ski shop operation complying with the ISO standards" and "Ski rental procedures complying with the ISO standards". They take place in Austria/Wildschönau. We also distribute bruchures, catalogues on our products and on the standartisation work |
